A letter from the founders

Dear reader,

Before you enroll, we want to tell you exactly why we built HER Venture HUB the way we did.

Studies show women reinvest up to 90% of their income back into their families and communities (World Bank / World Economic Forum).

We built HER Venture HUB on that same ethos, a well-known, strategic principle, not just an instinct. Ninety percent of our profit is reinvested directly into our social initiatives, a founders' pledge, not an afterthought. This is what we mean by our Regenerative and Shared Value model, one of the frameworks you'll actually learn in this program: value that circulates back into the people and communities that created it, rather than being extracted out of them. We're not just teaching it. We're built on it.

That's also why we run this Academy online, globally, by design. It means a participant in Lisbon, Dubai, or São Paulo can sit in the same cohort, learning from the same content, without us having to run separate, smaller editions city by city. That's not a compromise on quality, it's what makes a truly global program possible at all, and it's what keeps our costs, and your investment, lower than an equivalent in-person experience could ever be. When you invest in this program, you're investing in the caliber of the content and the expertise behind it, not a venue, flights, or catering. And every euro we save by running lean and global is a euro that goes further toward that 90% reinvestment.

We bootstrap. We run with the discipline of a startup, but we're not chasing an exit, and we're not here to make outside investors rich. We fund our own mission, on our own terms, from day one, so we never have to wait on a sponsor's approval to launch what we believe in.

That independence changes who we work with, too. When we do bring sponsors and partners to the table, we arrive already running, already proving the model works. It means we can choose sponsors who back us for the right reasons, not ones looking to attach their name to something they funded into existence. It's the same thing we teach in this program: economic power is what lets you negotiate from strength instead of dependency, and choose your partners on your own terms. We hold ourselves to it first.
